The improvised live-coding is based on processing sound generated by crowdsourced field recordings from Waipapa Taumata Rau. The audience can also interact with the piece live visually and sonically on their mobile devices.

This paper explores what can our practice tell us about the challenges and benefits of integrating the audience in telematic performance using their mobile phones to form a collective musical instrument, referred to here as a digital musical persona.
